Light Rains In Telangana For Two Days

Hyderabad, May 23 (Maxim News): A low pressure area formed in the South Konkan-Goa coast of the Arabian Sea in the early hours of Thursday. it is likely to move northwards and strengthen further and turn into a depression by Friday evening, the Meteorological Department has said. After that, he depression is expected to strengthen further. With this, light to moderate rains are likely to occur in many parts of the state for the next two days.

The Meteorological Department has said that heavy to very heavy rains are likely to be recorded in some areas of the joint Medak district, while Jagtial, Kamareddy, mahabubabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Ranga Reddy and Warangal districts are like to receive heavy rains at isolated places. The remaining areas are likely to receive light to moderate rains. On the other hand, the Meteorological Department has said that conditions are favourable for the entry of the southwest monsoon into kerala in the next two to three days.

If we look at the temperatures recorded in major cities of the state on Thursday. The maximum temperature was recorded at 35.5 degrees Celsius in nalgonda, and the minimum temperature was recorded at 20.3 degrees Celsius in medak. Temperatures were recorded 6.10 degrees Celsius below normal in most areas.

The Meteorological Department explained that temperatures in the state are likely to be recorded 5 degrees Celsius below normal for the next two days as well. (Maxim News)
