Lokesh Kumar Asks EROs To Speed Up EVP & DSE Works

Hyderabad, Oct.22 (Maxim News): GHMC Commissioner-cum-DEO of Hyderabad Lokesh Kumar and Joint Chief Electoral Officer, Telangana State, Ravi Kiran, held a review meeting on Electoral Verification Program and Demographically Similar Entries of voter names in GHMC, Head Office, here today.

While reviewing, the Commissioner asked the EROs of all Assembly segments of GHMC to speed up the EVP and DSE works and complete the task within a week. He said while verifying form-7 and deletions of similar entries, care should be taken and follow procedure along with recorded statement and maintain files for each deletion. “There should be no deletions without recorded statement. If required, depute additional staff and complete the work within the stipulated period, he added. All DMC / EROs / AEROs of all circles and senior officials from elections Department attended the meeting. (Maxim News)
