Madrasas asked to promote women education
Hyderabad, July 31 (Maxim News): Madrasas heads should pay special attention on women ‘s education, otherwise the life that runs on two tracks will get imbalanced and people’s lives will be affected by it. Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan, Vice Chancellor, Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) expressed the view while delivering presidential address in the valedictory of the Online Workshop “Leadership Development” yesterday on July 30, 2021.
Five-day workshop was organized jointly by The School of Education & Training and the Centre for Professional Development of Urdu Medium Teachers (CPDUMT) from July 26 to 30.
Prof. Ainul Hasan said students follow their teachers, if teachers are not sincere they cannot impress their students. He asked teachers to teach students with affection and also point out their mistakes with kindness. Only with our self-confidence we are able to teach them and make them better human beings.
Speaking as the guest of honour, Prof. S M Rahmatullah, Dean, School of Arts & Social Sciences said that if you are heading any organization do not consider it as just a job but take it as an opportunity to render social, community and national service. While mentioning NEP he said that it talks about giving primary and higher education in the mother tongue. And MANUU is offering education in Urdu medium. Its development is a step towards the implementation of the National Education Policy.
Prof. Siddiqui Mohd Mahmood, Registrar I/c & Dean, School of Education and Training briefed about the workshop. He said that the work of connecting Urdu with students, parents and teachers is being done by the principals and management of the Urdu education Institutions. The workshop was organized to encourage them and to address their problems.
Prof. Mohammed Abdul Sami Siddiqui, Director, Centre hosted the valedictory session whereas the coordinator of the workshop Dr. Md. Athar Hussain, Assistant Professor, Education and training proposed vote of thanks. (Maxim News)
