Maharashtra Cabinet Proposed Bharat Ratna To Ratan Tata

Mumbai/Hyderabad, Oct 10 (Maxim News): Everyone knows that legendary industrialist and famous philanthropist Ratan Tata is no more. On October 9, India lost a great Manavata Murthy. The Maharashtra cabinet declared October 10 as a day of mourning. Ratan Tata’s last rites are being officially conducted by the Maharashtra government.

In a cabin3et meeting, the Maharashtra government decided to nominate the name of Industrialist Ratan Tata for the Bharat Ratna award. Ratan Tata’s mortal remains are kept for public viewing at NCPA in Mumbai. Leaders across parties are flocking to pay tributes to him.

The Maharashtra cabinet has passed a resolution asking the Center to award Bharat Ratna to the late industrialist. He is the recipient of Padma Vibhushan, the country’s second-highest civilian award so far.

The Cabinet recalled that he proved that he could set up new businesses and take the country on the path of progress and development. He praised the services of Ratan Tata for his love for the country and sincere feelings for the upliftment of society. We have lost a great man who was committed to the country and society.
