Maharashtra: Two KG Girls Sexually Abused In A School

Mumbai/Hyderabad, Aug 20 (Maxim News): Hundreds of angry parents and local people came on the tracks at Badlapur railway station against the alleged incident of sexual assault of two four-year-old girls in a school in Thane district of Maharashtra. And blocked the way of trains.

The angry parents of the school children have been protesting at the local railway station since Tuesday morning, demanding strict action against the accused. A school in Badlapur of Thane district has suspended its principal and two staff members for allegedly sexually assaulting two girls. 

Due to the protest, the movement of trains on up and down routes has been affected since 8 am. According to media reports, on August 17, the Thane police arrested a school attendant for allegedly abusing two kindergarten students.

Amid the protests, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said he had taken serious note of the Badlapur incident. A SIT has already been formed in this case and we are also going to take action against the school where the incident took place. We are in the process of fast-tracking the matter, and if anyone is found guilty, no one will be spared. (Maxim News)
