Hyderabad, Feb.14 (Maxim News): Finance Minister T Harish Rao today vowed to develop the rural areas as per dreams of Mahatma Gandhi with all facilities. He participated in some developmental programs in Sanga Reddy district here.
Speaking on the occasion the finance minister said that the Chief Minister K Chnadrasekhar Rao has been emulating the path shown by Gandhi. The TRS Government does what all other parties and leaders talk much about. While there was no development in the past 70 years in Telangana region due to negligence by the past rulers. The TRS government just in six years has done more development than the previous governments he claimed.
The KCR Government is ideal and number one in the country as it offers welfare to all poor sections in the state he said.
The finance minister said that all schemes are meant for the poor to develop gradually in all sectors. We have been implementing Rythu Bandhu, Rythu Bhima, 24 power to farm sector and now started rythu vedikas for the benefit of the farmers, Harish Rao stated.
SC and ST funds will be utilised next year if not used the current year as per the acts formed in our state he said.
The previous congress and the TD regimes deliberately ignored our region. After statehood the TRS dispensation is for all round development of the state.
A whopping Rs 40000 cr being spent for the welfare sector alone in Telangana he said.
This was noted and appreciated by the Centre and union ministers. some of the welfare schemes are being followed by other states in India.
Thus the welfare schemes of Telangana are ideal to be followed by others he said.
Khajapur thanda had no tractor for many decades and the TRS Government gave them and vehicles for thandas which are developed into village panchayats. We are giving Rs 300 cr funds for providing basic amenities and development is on high he claimed.
Besides giving funds for roads, a new building for grama panchayat will be constructed by spending Rs 16 lakhs and Rs 15 lakhs for development of CC roads, he said.
We are giving land for vykunta dhamam or burial ground, dump yard, green cover programs, sanitation and nurseries on a priority basis he said. (Maxim News)
