Hyderabad: TPCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud said the Congress will take over the Nizamabad Corporation and win control in several civic bodies. He also criticised the BJP during the municipal elections and expressed confidence about future victories.

Mahesh Kumar Goud On Nizamabad Corporation Plans

Mahesh Kumar Goud said they will take over the Nizamabad Corporation. He stated that he will meet CM Revanth Reddy today Saturday. During this meeting, he said, they will discuss and take all decisions about the corporations.

He spoke to reporters in Hyderabad. Meanwhile, he expressed confidence that the Karimnagar Corporation will also come under their control. He added that he is talking to CPI leaders on this matter. Therefore, he said the right decision will be taken regarding the Kothagudem Corporation. He also made it clear that the Congress will be the chairman of the Jagityals.

Criticism Of BJP Over Municipal Elections

Mahesh Kumar Goud criticised the BJP over the municipal elections. He said the BJP could not achieve anything despite inciting religion in the municipal elections. “Is there any rule to win 90 percent in these elections?” he questioned.

He further said that these elections may have given Kavitha enthusiasm. However, he added that the BRS will not have any influence in the coming days. He predicted that they will win the most seats in the ZPTC and MPTC elections as well.

Moreover, Mahesh Kumar Goud expressed confidence that they will win the Hyderabad Greater elections too. He maintained that the Congress position remains strong across corporations. Later, he reiterated that discussions with party leaders and allies are ongoing.

Therefore, his remarks signal a clear political message ahead of upcoming civic contests. He underlined confidence in securing control of key corporations. At the same time, he questioned the BJP’s strategy in the municipal elections and predicted gains for the Congress in future polls.
