Major Blow To Indians Working In US: $100K Per H-1B Visa

Washington/Internet/Hyderabad, Sept 20 (Maxim News): US President Donald Trump has dropped a bombshell on foreign workers. The annual fee for H-1B visas has been increased to one hundred thousand dollars. This decision will have a severe impact on Indian employees working in many tech companies in the US. The Trump administration has said that this move is aimed at protecting American employees. If these measures are implemented legally, companies hiring Indians will have to pay one hundred thousand dollars per year (Trump H-1B visa cards).

Meanwhile, the US government has announced a Gold Card visa program for foreign workers. Trump Gold Card, Trump Platinum Card, and Trump Corporate Gold Card will be given to businessmen. These cards provide special privileges.

Trump Gold Card: To get this card, you have to pay 1 million dollars (about 8.8 crore rupees). Those who want to get this card have to submit an application along with a non-refundable processing fee. Once you get this gold card, you can go and use it anywhere in all 50 states of America.

Trump Platinum Card: To get this card, one has to pay 5 million dollars (about 44 crore rupees). The registration process for this card has not started yet. However, a person has to sign up for this Platinum Card and get his place on the waiting list. One has to pay the processing fee and wait for the Department of Homeland Security to review it. If one gets this card, one can spend up to 270 days in the US without paying tax on income earned in other countries (Platinum H-1B visa).

Trump Corporate Gold Visa: Companies that hire foreign workers can apply for this card. Corporate companies have to pay $2 million (Rs. 17 crore) for this card. They have to pay a processing fee and wait for DHS review. A small annual maintenance fee also applies. (Maxim News)
