Make Gurukul, Welfare Schools Surpass Others In Studies: Minister
Hyderabad, June 10 (Maxim News): Welfare Minister Koppula Eashwar today instructed the officials concerned to see that Gurukul and welfare schools surpass others in providing quality education among students.
The minister held a review meeting with the officials and informed that the government has sanctioned 3,689 posts for BC Residential schools in the State. He told the media that the posts will be filled from this academic year till 2023, he said. Eshwar instructed the officials to make all arrangements in all the schools. “We have directed the Collectors to fill the posts of teaching, PET, Staff Nurses and non-teaching staff in these Gurukul institutions.
In addition to 119 BC Residential schools, the government will also start another 119 school buildings to provide quality education for classes 5, 6 and 7th. All facilities are being made and about 90 per cent of text books, notebooks and Rs 2 lakh provision fund were given to the schools to have better facilities, they informed.
The minister said TRS government started 281 colleges, schools and 119 Gurukuls and giving education to 92,000 students as against just 6,000 students during the previous Congress regime, he said. (Maxim News)
