Mallu Slams Laxman’s “Insane” Talk Against Cong
Hyderabad, Aug.13 (Maxim News): TPCC vice-president Mallu Ravi on Tuesday said the BJP was criticizing the Congress only to prove its existence in the State. Pointing out that the saffron party had not even saved its deposits in 103 Assembly constituencies in the State during the last year’s elections, Ravi reminded that the BJP had secured only 17 percent votes in the recent Lok Sabha elections in the State.
Speaking to mediapersons, Mallu said there was no BJP in the recent ZPTC and MPTC elections in the State. Ridiculing that the BJP had become a tail party of the ruling TRS party and the latter was extending its support to all the bills introduced by the former in Parliament, the TPCC leader asked the BJP whether it was not a fact that several Union ministers had heaped praises on the welfare programs being implemented by the State government.
Alleging that there was a secret agreement between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, Ravi accused the BJP leaders of carrying out Goble’s propaganda against the Congress. Referring to the comments of the State BJP president K. Laxman against Congress, Ravi said the former was slamming the Congress as an “insane” person. He advised Laxman to keep his tongue under control otherwise the Telangana people would not tolerate such vilification campaign. (Maxim News)
