Hyderabad, May 18: Police arrested a man for allegedly spreading false propaganda on social media against Justice T. Madhavi Devi following the hearing of the anticipatory bail plea filed in the POCSO case involving Bandi Sai Bhagirath.
The accused, identified as Damodar, allegedly circulated false claims that the judge’s husband would receive a chairman post if bail was granted to Bhagirath, son of Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar.
The alleged posts triggered controversy on social media after the High Court hearing related to the POCSO case.
Complaint filed over false propaganda
High Court Registrar (Judicial) B.S. Chiranjeevi lodged a complaint with Charminar police against those responsible for spreading false allegations against the judge.
