Man Arrested over ‘2BHK scheme fraud’
Hyderabad: Cyberabad police have arrested a man for allegedly extorting money from a number of people for offering a double bedroom house.
According to their report Vision One Channel cheated 40 people by giving them a double bedroom house in the name of MD.
He charged lakhs and a half rupees each. However, the suspected victims resorted to the police as the houses were not ransacked despite the money being taken.
The police who registered the case arrested the accused. 8 lakh cash, fake house documents, ID cards and a car were seized from him.
Sajjanar, Police Commissioner said that the accused was not an ordinary person and had also acted as an essayist with a fake ID card in the past. He was arrested by the Vijayawada police in this case.
