Man Died In A Bomb Blast In Telangana

Mulugu / Hyderabad, June 3 (Maxim News): A man died in a bomb blast in the Kongala hills forest of Wajedu Mandal.  The deceased was identified as 55-year-old Yellandula Yesu.

Reports suggest that the outlawed CPI (Maoists) planted the landmine to kill the police. Yesu, along with two other villagers — Ramesh and Faqeer from Jangannathapuram village ventured into the forest to collect firewood.

According to the details,  Illendula Yesu (55) of Jagannadhapuram village in Wajedu Mandal was climbing a hill in the Kongala forest area for firewood, when he stepped on a pot of explosive material planted by Maoists and suddenly it exploded with a loud noise.  As a result, Yesu got up in the air fell down, and died on the spot due to severe injuries. 

Following the incident, the police department issued an alert asking the police personnel to exercise more caution while venturing out. (Maxim News)
