Man | Patancheru, July 16: Police arrested a man for allegedly selling ganja near an industrial area close to ICRISAT in Patancheru in Sangareddy district.
Acting on a tip-off, the Ramachandrapuram police under the Cyberabad Commissionerate conducted surveillance and apprehended the accused.

The arrested individual has been identified as Qureshi Shabbir Ali, a resident of Mannekali village in Bidar district, Karnataka.
During interrogation, he admitted to procuring the contraband from Odisha and selling it in the local area.
Authorities seized 8 kilograms of ganja from his possession. Following the arrest, he was produced before the court and sent to judicial remand.
