Man kills wife after she refuses to have sex

A man in Hyderabad was arrested for murdering his wife after she refused to have sex with him. According to the police, the incident happened on May 20 but was cracked 10 days later, when the man confessed to his crime.

The accused, in his mid-20s, tried to have sex with his wife, who had delivered a second child just a month ago, the police told PTI, adding, an altercation took place between the two when the wife refused his advances.

The man, angered over the situation, strangled his wife to death, the police said.

Following the murder, the accused informed his relatives about the incident and the woman was taken to a hospital, where the doctors declared her brought dead.

Meanwhile, a complaint in connection with the woman’s death was registered by her father.

During preliminary investigations, some nail marks were found on the woman’s throat, following which the accused confessed to his crime, a police official at Saidabad Police Station told PTI.

The post-mortem report also confirmed the cause of death, after which the accused was arrested, the official added.
