MANUU Fraternity Condemns Pahalgam Terror Attack

Hyderabad: Staff Associations of Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) held a candlelight March procession to pay homage to the tourists and locals killed in Pahalgam. The procession observed two minutes silence to pay homage to the victims and conveyed a clear message of solidarity with the victims and their families.

The President MANUU Teachers Association and FEDCUTA V.P., Dr. Shabana Kesar while condemning the act said that today the whole India stands united against the brutal attack on the innocent tourists in Pahalgam and wants the terrorists to be identified and duly punished.

Secretary MANUU Officers Association Dr. Aslam Parwez vehemently condemned the ruthless act and said that no religion teaches hatred and no terrorist acts can be justified on any ground.

President MANUU Employees Welfare Association Mr. Shaik Naveed, described it as an attack not only on tourists but on the whole nation and said the government must take all needed steps to stop such attacks in future. 

Dr. Jameel Ahamed, Mr. Dharamjeet, Mr.Shanawaz Ali Qureshi and others also addressed the gathering.

The procession started from the Administrative Building and concluded at MANUU main gate.  A large number of faculties, officers, staff members and students participated in the procession.
