MANUU IMC Director Rizwan Ahamd invited to Canada by the UNESCO

Hyderabad: In a remarkable international recognition, Mr. Rizwan Ahmad, Director, of the Instructional Media Centre (IMC), Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) has been invited to be part of the UNESCO’s expert panel for a Reflection Group on the diversity of cultural expressions in the digital environment. Mr Rizwan will be attending the first meeting of the Reflection Group during May 2024 in Quebec City, Canada to be hosted by the Govt of Canada.

UNESCO has selected 18 experts from around the world, who will convene to exchange knowledge, share experiences, and formulate recommendations to implement the 2005 Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions in the digital sphere.

Mr. Rizwan, renowned for his expertise in cultural preservation and digital innovation, has been selected to lend his invaluable insights and perspective to this prestigious initiative.

His participation in this discussion signifies not only the recognition of his outstanding achievements but also highlights the significance of Maulana Azad National Urdu University at the international level.
