MANUU Planted Saplings Under Campaign 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam'
Hyderabad: The plantation campaign ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam‘ was held at Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) as part of the nationwide Swachhta Hi Seva program on the instructions of the Government of India. Students and staff planted saplings on the campus to promote environmental sustainability and celebrate the nurturing spirit of motherhood.
On this occasion, The Nodal Officer of the campaign, Prof. Mohammad Fariyad said that our students individually took the responsibility of planting the saplings in the University premises under the plantation campaign and they will continue to take care of these plants until they study here. The cleaning campaign is also being conducted in the hostels especially by removing old obsolete items and cleaning dumped garbage. Medicine is also being sprayed by fogging machines to prevent mosquitoes, he added.
Dr. Iqbal Khan, charge engineering section, Mr. Meraj Ahmed, Cultural Coordinator, Mr. Mohd Abdul Hafeez, Dr. Danish Khan, Inam Khan, Ajmal Ali Khan, Ehsan Khan, Mohammad Shahbaz, Nazakat Ali and others were present. A large number of students also participated.

Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU), Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Hyderabad is inviting applications from desirous candidates to take admissions in vacant ITI Trades at Hyderabad. The last date for submission of filled in application form is September 23, 2024.
According to the Principal, Dr. Arshia Azam, the application form can be obtained from MANUU – ITI Hyderabad or can be downloaded from the University website www.manuu.edu.in. The counseling will be held on September 25, 2024, from 9.30 am onwards at ITI, MANUU Campus, Gachibowli
