Marijuana Cultivation In Asifabad District: Tribal Farmer Arrested
Komaram Bheem Asifabad/Hyderabad, Oct 11 (Maxim News): Ganja cultivation has created a stir in Komaram Bheem Asifabad district. The police received reliable information that ganja was being cultivated in Kodduguda village of Tiryani mandal. Following this, the police conducted raids on Friday with a well-planned operation.
When it was learned that a tribal farmer named Atram Paparao was cultivating marijuana in his field, the police went there directly. The police found that marijuana plants were being grown in the Kandi crop. They said that ten marijuana plants worth Rs. 1 lakh were destroyed. The police registered a case and started an investigation. (Maxim News)
