Massive Cleaning Programme at OU

Massive Cleaning Programme | Hyderabad, April 24 (Maxim News): Massive Cleaning Programme was conducted on the OU campus on Monday from 8.00 to 11.30 AM organised by OU NSS Cell.

As per the instructions of V.C. Prof. D. Ravinder, the NSS OU cell organised the Massive Cleaning programme on the OU campus in view of ‘OU Taksh’.

About 600 hundred NSS volunteers and their programme officers from different colleges in twin cities participated in this programme.

In the inauguration session, Prof. D. Ravinder appealed to the students to develop a service motto, asked the volunteers to participate in service-oriented programmes, and emphasised concentrating on studies.

Massive Cleaning Programme at OU

In the inaugural session registrar Prof Laxmi Narayana, NSS OU Programme Coordinator Dr Saveen Souda, NSS programme and volunteers from different colleges participated. Volunteers cleaned the camps and collected waste material from roadsides from Engineering College to Arts College.

Volunteers also collected the plastic and waste materials from different places and gathered them at Arts College. Dr Saveen Souda appreciated the NSS Volunteers and Programme officers for participation in this programme and for making the programme a grand success. (Maxim News)
