Beijing/Internet/Hyderabad, Oct 9 (Maxim News): A major earthquake has struck China. The earth shook suddenly at 1:17 pm on Thursday in Xinlong County, Sichuan Province.
The China Earthquake Networks Center said that the earthquake’s intensity was recorded as 5.4 on the Richter scale.
It revealed that the epicenter of the earthquake was detected at a depth of 10 kilometers. The earthquake also caused tremors in neighboring Bhutan. The National Center for Seismology revealed that the earthquake’s intensity was recorded as 3.1 there.
People were in a state of panic due to the earthquake. They ran out of their houses. However, there is no information about the loss of life in this incident. (Maxim News)
