Mega Master Policy Will be Formulated For Industrial Development by 2050: CM Revanth

Hyderabad, Jan 6 (Maxim News): Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said that Mega Master Policy will be formulated with the future goal of industrial growth across Telangana by 2050.

He had a meeting with representatives of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) at the Secretariat on Saturday. He said that if the formula followed for the development of industries in Telangana region from 1994 to 2004 was the same, then from 2004 to 2014 it reached another level.

He said that the government will work with the aim of reaching the highest growth stage (next level development) in the coming days.

The CM said that the state government is following a new friendly policy to invite investments for the development of industries.

He said that there is no place for misconceptions and suspicions in the matter of industrial development. The Chief Minister assured that every penny invested by industrialists in Telangana will be protected and worth more.

He made it clear that the Congress government will follow a new policy in contrast to the ideas that the Congress government is focusing on the welfare of rural people and the interests of rural areas.

He expressed the desire that industrial development should not be concentrated in Hyderabad alone.. All regions of Telangana should develop like Hyderabad.

He said that their aim is to expand industries to rural areas. He said that the prosperity and welfare of villages and rural areas is also linked with the fruits of development and investments in cities and towns.

The Chief Minister asked the enthusiasts and industrialists to cooperate in implementing the friendly policy so that all sectors can develop industrially.

As part of this policy, Telangana will be divided into three clusters, he said. He said that an urban cluster within the Hyderabad Outer Ring Road (ORR), the area between the ORR and the Regional Ring Road as a semi-urban cluster, and the surrounding area after the Regional Ring Road as a rural cluster will be given encouragement to the establishment of industries.
