Mega Rythu Mela At Telangana Agricultural University From March 8

Hyderabad, Mar 6 (Maxim News): Professor Jayashankar Telangana Agricultural University and the state government are organizing a Mega Rythu Mela on the 8th and 9th of this month, said the university’s Vice-Chancellor Professor Aldas Janayya. He revealed the details at a media conference organized on Friday.

He urged the success of the farmers’ fair at the university in Rajendra Nagar on the occasion of International Women’s Day. He explained that about 8 to 10 thousand women farmers are attending this fair, which will be organized with the aim of empowering women farmers. He said that the two-day mega women’s farmers’ fair will include face-to-face programs with scientists and progressive farmers on the key challenges facing the agricultural sector and their solutions.

He said that about three thousand women farmers from SERP under the jurisdiction of the state rural development department will attend this program. He revealed that about 70 to 80 stalls are being set up on various modern technological topics. He said that there will be dance and song programs by university students on topics such as the side effects of excessive use of chemical fertilizers and the cultivation of rice varieties that are in demand in the market.
