Merge Asifabad In Maharashtra If Funds Are Not Allocated – MLA Harish Babu
Hyderabad, July 30 (Maxim News): Sirpur MLA Dr. Palwai Harish Babu spoke during the debate on the irrigation sector and civil supplies in the Legislative Assembly today.

Speaking on the occasion, he demanded that the backward Komuram Bhim should be merged with neighboring Maharashtra if funds are not allocated to the Asifabad district. He said that they are trying to place their grievances before the House, and requested that the Legislature set up a committee for the development of backward areas, study and suggest ways of solving backwardness.
Also, Dr. BR Ambedkar Pranahita Chevella project should be constructed at Tummidi Hatti, Jagannath Pur project, Ada projects should be completed, Pipirao project should be removed and water should be given to 11 thousand acres of Ayakattu.

He said that the previous government had done extreme injustice to North Telangana by diverting water only to South Telangana and requested them to amend them.
Kumram Bhim asked to pay Rs.12 crore to the Forest Department for the construction of several roads in the Asifabad district. (Maxim News)
