Hyderabad, April 19: The Thorrur Ranganatha Temple theft was reported again after miscreants stole hundis from the temple in Hayathnagar. This marks the third such incident, raising concerns among locals.
According to police, unidentified persons broke open the main gate at midnight. They entered the Ranganatha Swamy Temple and took away two hundis from the sanctum.
Priests noticed the damage in the morning and alerted residents and police. Soon after, officers reached the spot and began an inquiry into the Thorrur Ranganatha Temple theft.

Meanwhile, police teams collected evidence with the help of a clues team. They also started examining CCTV footage from the temple and nearby areas. A case has been registered based on a complaint by the temple committee.
However, locals expressed anger over repeated incidents. They said the Thorrur Ranganatha Temple theft has occurred three times, indicating security lapses.
Residents demanded stricter security measures to prevent further thefts. Police said the investigation is ongoing and efforts are being made to identify the accused.
