Hyderabad, April 19: The Jagtial Congress leaders join BRS trend continued as 25 leaders and activists switched parties in Ibrahimpatnam mandal. The shift reflects ongoing political realignments in the district.
According to party sources, the leaders belong to Thimmapur and Thimmapur Thanda villages. They joined the Bharat Rashtra Samithi under the leadership of former Vice MPP Nomula Lakshma Reddy.
Korutla MLA Dr Sanjay Kalvakuntla formally welcomed them into the party. He greeted them by offering pink scarves at the induction event.

Meanwhile, the Jagtial Congress leaders join BRS development follows similar recent defections. Leaders cited dissatisfaction as a key reason for leaving the Indian National Congress.
During the event, MLA Sanjay Kalvakuntla said BRS values its workers. He assured support and protection for all new members. Therefore, he urged them to work together for party growth.
