Hyderabad, April 19 (Maxim News): The weather in Telangana has changed suddenly. People are suffering from both the bad weather and unseasonal rains. The Meteorological Department has warned that there is a possibility of rain accompanied by thunder, lightning and gusty winds in several districts of the state for the next five days.
According to the current conditions, the sun is very intense from morning to afternoon. However, by evening, the weather will completely cool down, and suddenly there will be strong winds and hailstorms. Winds blowing at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour are likely to disrupt public life.
District-wise warnings:
1. Orange Alert (Hail):
Authorities have issued an ‘Orange Alert’ due to the possibility of thunder, lightning and hail in Adilabad, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Medak and Kamareddy districts today.
2. Yellow Alert (Storms):
There is a possibility of scattered rain in Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Siddipet, Ranga Reddy, Hyderabad, Medchal-Malkajgiri, Vikarabad and Sangareddy districts. A ‘Yellow Alert’ has been issued for these districts.

On the other hand, the intensity of the sun..
Despite the forecast of rain, daytime temperatures are recording record highs. Adilabad, Jagtial, Jogulamba Gadwal, Kamareddy, Karimnagar, Komaram Bheem, Mahabubnagar, Mancherial, Medak, Nagar Kurnool, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Peddapalli, Rajanna Sircilla, Sangareddy, Vikarabad and Wanaparthy districts are likely to experience high sun exposure. An orange alert has also been issued for these districts in view of the intensity of the sun.
Instructions to the public:
Do not stay under trees or near electric poles during strong winds. Farmers should take appropriate precautions to protect their crops. It is best not to go out in the afternoon unless it is an emergency as the sun is very intense. Officials advise people to be vigilant due to heatwaves and untimely rains due to these changed weather conditions. (Maxim News)
