Merger Of TCLP With TRSLP Imminent: Defectors

Hyderabad, April 21 (Maxim News): TRS party appears to have intensified process of merger of CLP into it. The party needs 3 more Congress MLAs to ensure merger of CLP into TRS.

Adding credence to the speculation, the defected MLAs of the Congress Rega Kantha Rao, Haripriya Naik and Chirumarti Lingaiah spoke to media on the issue on the Assembly premises. They said the merger of the CLP into the TRS party was going to happen at any time.

They also said only three MLAs would be left in the Congress party after the merger. They said the process of merger of the CLP would be completed in the next three to four days. They said they were holding discussions on the issue with legal experts. The MLAs said they came to the Assembly to collect the B-forms of local body elections. (Maxim News)
