World football legend Lionel Messi has arrived in Hyderabad as part of the Got India tour. The Messi Hyderabad visit prompted heavy security arrangements across the city. Hyderabad Police Commissioner Sajjanar sought public cooperation to ensure the smooth conduct of the event. Police confirmed that Messi reached the city along with Rodrigo and Luis and then proceeded from the airport to Falaknuma Palace.

According to officials, Messi and his team will stay at Falaknuma Palace until 7 pm. During this period, police deployed extensive security measures. Commissioner Sajjanar said officials arranged heavy security from the airport to Falaknuma Palace. Therefore, movement along the route remained under close watch. Police focused on safety due to the high profile nature of the visit and the expected presence of prominent leaders.

Commissioner Sajjanar said that about 250 people will meet Messi at the palace. Police issued QR code passes to these individuals in advance. He also said police have complete details of all those who received passes. Meanwhile, officials continued to monitor access points to avoid any security lapse. Sajjanar said the Hyderabad and Rachakonda Commissionerates are working with full focus to manage the event smoothly.

During the Messi Hyderabad visit, Congress key leader Rahul Gandhi and Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said they will meet Messi at Falaknuma Palace. Police confirmed that Messi will be at the palace for two hours. Therefore, officials planned security arrangements to match the limited schedule and high footfall during that time. Later, additional checks were added to manage the expected movement of invitees.

Commissioner Sajjanar also said police strengthened security further due to incidents that took place in Bengal in the past. He explained that these factors required extra caution. Meanwhile, city police officers coordinated closely to ensure order and safety throughout the visit. Sajjanar called on city police officers and the public to cooperate with the government to make the event a success.
