Metro Train To Old City Before Next Elections: CM Assured Akbaruddin Owaisi  

Hyderabad, July 27 (Maxim News): Reacting to the demands made by the AIMIM floor leader in Assembly Akbaruddin Owaisi, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy assured to ply Metro Train from Gowliguda to Falaknuma and Chandrayangutta before the coming Assembly elections and also assured that he will travel in Metro Rail in Old City and seek the vote for the Congress party from the Chandrayangutta Assembly Constituency.

Control Drug Menace In the City  

To another demand of Akbaruddin Owaisi on law and order control and free availability of drugs in Hyderabad city, the Chief Minister assured him that his government has also already taken the issue seriously, as part of this, the Police are working hard and apprehending the culprits.  He said strong measures will be taken to keep law and order under control.  

Protect Wakf Properties 

Participating in the debate on the budget at Assembly today, Akbaruddin Owaisi demanded the government protect the Waqf land stating that if the Wakf land is protected and brought into use, it would be helpful to the poor Muslims there would be no need to depend on the government schemes, he expressed concern of demolition of Mosque recently the 400-year-old mosque in Chilkur at Moinabad was demolished by the land grabbers.  he said there is no difference between the Muslims and Hindus there, even the Hindus are expressing said over the incident.

Give Priority To Education, Medical And Health 

 He also pointed out the collapse of the education system in the state particularly during the last 10 years stating that more than 27 percent of school dropouts are there.

Similarly, he has also accused the previous BRS of its wrong economic policies which have brought the state into huge debt finding it difficult even to pay the salaries to the employees. He also accused the ruling parties of not doing proper allocation for Medical and Health, as per the United Nations guidelines, the government was supposed to earmark 8 percent of the budget, but unfortunately, no government is taking this, including the present Congress government, the .allocation for Medical and Health is hardly 2.5 percent of GSDP which is very unfortunate and asked the government to increase the budget of Medical and Health.

He also raised the issue of non-payment of scholarships and fee reimbursement to the students, he said due to the previous government did not clear the fee reimbursement due to the management of the educational institutions not giving the certificates to the students.  

Akbaruddin Owaisi also raised the long pending problems of the Minorities facing in the old city of Hyderabad, about poverty, unemployment, road widening, construction of houses for the poor

Adani Group Will Not Be Allowed To Operate In Old City 

He also raised the issue of allowing the Adani group to collect the electricity bills on a pilot basis in the old city, he questioned why only the old city, why not it is in the Constituencies of  Chief Minister Revanth Reddy or the constituencies of Sridhar Babu, he said sarcastically, However, Akbaruddin Owaisi out rightly rejected the presence of Adani Group in the old city of Hyderabad.  he said, the government is accusing the old city people of power theft, while there are many reasons of power wastage, for which he is ready to give proof and demonstration.  he repeatedly said that Advani Group would not be allowed to operate in Old City.   (Maxim News)
