Migrant Workers From Bihar Return To Telangana
Hyderabad, May 8 (Maxim News): This is indeed a good news for Telangana State, which is presently grappling with migrant workers problem. While most of the migrant workers are leaving the state, those who have gone to their native places are now returning to the state to work in the state. Around 225 migrant workers from Bihar returned to the state on Friday. They would be placed to work in various rice mills of the state.
The state civil supplies minister Gangula Kamalakar, State civil supplies corporation chairman M.Srinivas Reddy and Rythu Bandhu Samithi state chairman Palla Rajeshwar Reddy welcomed the workers into the state by handing over bouquets to them.
Speaking on the occasion, Kamalakar said that they would send the workers to districts like Karimnagar, Jagtiyal, Siddipeta, miryalaguda, Kamareddy , Peddapalle, Nalgonda and Sultanabad towns of the state to work in special buses after performing tests on them. The workers have also been given with food and water packets by the authorities of the state government.(Maxim News)
