Minister Azharuddin Joins Revanth Reddy’s NEET Candlelight Rally

Hyderabad, July 25: Telangana Minister for Minorities Welfare and Public Enterprises Mohammed Azharuddin on Saturday joined Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy in a candlelight rally from People’s Plaza to the Indira Gandhi Statue at Necklace Road, expressing solidarity with students seeking accountability over the alleged NEET examination irregularities and the reported police action against protesters in Delhi.

The rally was attended by Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee President Mahesh Kumar Goud, Cabinet ministers, MLAs, MLCs, MPs, party leaders, student representatives and Congress workers.

Mohammed Azharuddin walked alongside the Chief Minister throughout the rally and reiterated the Telangana Government’s commitment to protecting students’ interests while ensuring fairness, transparency and accountability in the education system.

According to the Minister, the rally reflects the government’s continued support for students demanding justice. He has participated in three major protests backing students on the issue.

Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the programme, Mohammed Azharuddin welcomed the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
