Minister KTR Has Assured To Protect 4 Percent Reservation To Muslims

Hyderabad, Nov 5 (Maxim News):  Keeping in view that the delegation of the United Muslim Forum (UMF) who submitted the “Charter of Demands ” to the Minister KT Rama Rao recently, the members belonging to the UMF has announced full support to the ruling BRS in the coming Assembly Election to the BRS and also assured that they will go door-to-door in support of BRS. 

According to the Members of the UMF, KTR has assured protection of the 4 percent reservation to Muslims in employment and education.  At present 12 percent Reservations is not feasible, in view of the anti-Muslim government led by BJP at the Center, KTR assured that the government shall increase the representation of Muslims in Non-Statutory works, like awarding work contracts in various departments, increasing representation of other than Government Jobs and Educational Institutions.

12 percent reservation in House sites/house allotment patta distribution to Muslim Minority, government to amend the Stamps duties act to enable the Notarised Properties to get it registered, Metro from MGBS to Falaknuma to be taken up in a time frame, Imams Moazins to be treated on par with temple priest (Archakas) Madarsa Education to be recognized by Universities, setting up an Urdu College and a General Hospital in Nizamabad or Karimnagar, revitalizing Nizamia government, Tibbi Unani hospital and Unani College in Hyderabad.  Filling of vacant posts in Judiciary should be filled with Muslim Minorities which will give a sense of confidence among the Muslim community, a reasonable number of Muslims in the field of judicial officers like the PP, Asst PP’s Government Pleadewrs, Asst. Government pleaders at various levels and this should be done in consultation with AIMIM which represents the Muslim community in the State.

A policy to enhance Muslim representation in legislative, local bodies, marketing committees, and other public offices, Muslim representation in the appointment of University Vice-chancellors.  Adequate representation should be given to Muslims in government jobs, financial aid of Rs. 10 lakhs for minority entrepreneurs, Minority Bandhu Scheme on par with Dalit Bandhu, Setwin must be revitalised with full functioning.  setting up of National Academy of Construction Centres in Muslim-dominated areas of Hyderabad, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Nirmal, and other places, introducing budgetary sub-plan for Minority Development.  

Enact of Law to contain hate crimes against Muslim Minority, For Protection of Minorities, introduces a bill on par with SC/ST Atrocities Act.  Proper implementation of the Right to Education Act.  The government should provide the funds through Green Channel under the Schemes related to Minority Student Scholarships

To protect Waqf properties, the Waqf Board shall be empowered with relevant legislative support, to develop Waqf Properties a separate body Waqf Development Corporation to be created.  

Though Urdu has been declared the second official language of the state, it is being implemented properly, there are no signboards of officers’ nameplates in Urdu on the Secretariat as well as the Main Boards of the government offices, no use of Urdu in RTC Buses, no appointments of Urdu Teachers, Urdu Medium Government School are in a bad condition, there shall be Urdu Government Model School in every district, appointment of urdu person as vice Chairman in Officials Language Commission.  (Maxim News)
