Minister KTR Launches TS-bPASS Initiative At MCRHRD Today
Municipal Administration Minister KTR formally launched the TS-bPASS initiative today. Mayor Bonthu Rammohan and Principal Secretary Arvind Kumar were present.
According to TS-bPASS, no building permissions are required to construct a house in plots area upto 75 Sq.yards & building height upto 7 meters height and an instant approval for buildings in plots of above 75 Sq.yards and upto 600 Sq.yards, based on self certification.
Municipal Administration Minister KTR handed over the building permission copies to the citizens who availed the services of TS-bPASS initiative after its launch today.
Soon after the launch of the initiative, Minister KTR addressed the gathering and said that after Telangana State formation, the Government has brought in various progressive policies and reforms.
CM KCR has introduced these reforms to develop infrastructure in urban spaces and at the same time ensure decentralisation of administrative power for the welfare of people living in rural areas, said Minister KTR. “This is the reason, the Government has come up with new districts, mandals, revenue divisions, and panchayats,” he added.
Minister KTR stated that Central and other State governments have emulated schemes and policies of the Telangana Government.
Minister KTR stated that the government has launched TS-bPASS exclusively for building approvals, similar to TS-iPASS a single window approval system for industries.
He said that about 43% population in Telangana lives in towns and cities. The urban population will only increase in the coming five years. And for these people this initiative will be of a great opportunity.
Minister KTR stated that the Government with complete trust on citizens has brought in a self certification system in place. He appealed to not break the trust by registering illegal or encroached constructions.
Minister KTR stated that the TSbPASS will stand as the best initiative when it comes to building constructions in the country.
Minister stated that Hyderabad has affordable houses which no other metro has in the country. He appealed to the real-estate leaders to ensure this trend continues.
Minister asked the citizens, and real estate sectors to utilise this initiative. He also stated that on the feedback given by these sectors, new amendments would be brought to the initiative.
Minister thanked the Municipal Administration dept officials for working hard in bringing out the TSbPASS initiative.
CREDAI President Rama Krishna said, “We are thankful to the Telangana Government, Minister KTR and officials of the Municipal Administration Department. Nowhere in the country, a self certification system has been introduced for building constructions. This is a dream come true for builders like us.”
