Minister KTR Will Meet IIIT Basara Students Today

Hyderabad, September 26: IT Minister KT Rama Rao will meet students of the IIIT at Basara in the Nirmal district on Monday. It may be recalled that KTR had assured them to resolve all issues related to students.

His tour will begin with visiting Adilabad MLA Jogu Ramanna’s residence at Deepaiguda in Jainad Mandal. He will condole the death of MLA’s mother Bhojamma, who passed away recently.

Later, the minister will interact with the employees of BNDT Labs and NTT Data Business Solutions at IT Towers in Adilabad. In the afternoon, KTR accompanied by ministers Sabitha Indra Reddy and A. Indrakaran Reddy will visit IIIT and listen to the problems faced by students. He will also have lunch with them after the meeting.

In August, IIIT students staged protests for several days demanding that the Telangana government should address their pending issues. Even the Opposition criticized the TRS government for showing negligence in resolving issues raised by IIIT students.
