Hyderabad, April 17 (Maxim News): State Minister KT Rama Rao held video conference with Addoptional Collectors and Municipal Commissioners of all Districts of Telangana State from GHMC Head office in the city.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister KTR asked officials to strictly implement measures In containment zones to contain the spread of coronavirus In the state. He also said that there were 260 containment zones in the state, out of which 146 were located within GHMC limits while the remaining fall in 43 municipalities across Telangana. He directed Municipal commissioners and zonal commissioners to ensure the people living in containment zones stay indoors. He also directed the officials that essentials including milk, vegetables and medicines should be delivered at their door steps with the help of the volunteers. The Minister also said that the volunteers should be provided with separate dress code. “The needs of the people should be noted by creating Whatsapp groups, people living in the containment zones will be the group members,” he said. .
KTR directed the officials to book cases against people living in containment zone if they were found flouting guidelines that need to be followed. He said that Awareness should be crated among the people to follow the containment guidelines in order to avoid new positive cases. Sanitation, spraying of disinfectants and a survey to check fever should be executed with utmost care, he added. He also directed that the sanitation staffers spraying disinfectants should be equipped with safety gear. The officials were directed by the minister to stock Sodium Hypolchorite solution in advance. To monitor the containment zones minster emphasized on 12 key points.
Some of These points are Proper barricading, appointment of officials from line departments, appointment of para medical staff to conduct fever survey, ensuring sanitation and spraying are strictly done, delivery of essentials . People should be informed about containment guidelines to be followed and arrangements made by government through via public address system, Distribution of pamphlets to households , door to door inspection by medical teams and officials.
Minister Etela Rajender said recent palle pragathi, and Patana Pragathi taken up as per the orders of Chief Minister K.Chandra Shekar Rao had helped the state to control covid 19. (Maxim News)
