Hyderabad, Aug.17 (Maxim News): Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao today instructed ministers and Collectors concerned to take measures on a war-footing basis to protect floods and rain victims.
He asked them to ensure that no casualty is, reported in districts dye to heavy rains and floods.
KCR held a high level review meeting at Pragati Bhavan here on the current situation of rains causing havoc in the districts. He cautioned them to remain high alert on the continuous rains causing havoc in the districts by getting reports from villages.
The ministers and top officials have to expeditiously take action to save lives and properties in the districts. The focus be on Warangal and Jayashankar Bhupalapally, Adilabad, Nirmal and other districts hit by heavy rains and floods.
The Chief Minister asked to protect loss of lives and properties in the districts due to heavy rains. KCR said that funds are available for rescue and rehabilitation measures.
Coordinated efforts will prove handy and check the problems arising out of the rains, and floods he said. KCR asked Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar to monitor and give instructions to collectors and officials on the rains and floods. (Maxim News)
