Minister Tells Local Leaders & Officials To Strive For Development Of Towns And Villages

Hyderabad, Feb.19 (Maxim News): Roads & Buildings Minister V Prashant Reddy said to local leaders and officials to work for development of towns and villages in the districts. “Shoulder responsibilities to develop your towns and villages with a focus on clean and green programs”, he exhorted them.

The minister was addressing a pachayat Sammelan in Nizamabad attended by zilla parishat, mandal chairmen, local leaders and officials in the district. He said Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao was keen on development of towns and villages by using necessary funds. “Palle Pragati, brain child of KCR, gave good results and now Pattana Pragati will start soon,” he said, adding that a number of development and welfare programs were being implemented in the State. “As the people gave us mandate, it is time to work and win their hearts,” the minister said. “Address the issues and problems in the villages and towns and fulfill people’s aspirations. Infrastructure and facilities are essential for development”, the minister said.

In Mahabubabad district, Minister Sathyavathi Rathod addressed a similar meeting and appealed to the leaders to focus on development. She asked them to take up clean and green programs with involvement of people and fulfill their expectations. The government was supplying tractors and offering funds for development, she added.
