Miracle in Sambhal: Mysterious ‘Well of Death’ Unearthed

Sambhal/Hyderabad, Dec 26 (Maxim News): It is known that excavations are underway in the Chandausi district of Uttar Pradesh. While a stepwell was recently discovered, another miracle came to light on Thursday.

A well was found 100 meters away from Jama Masjid. This well was discovered in an area where a large number of Hindus live. However, it is called the Mrityunjaya Well. Locals say that there is a temple near this well. It is the Mrityunjay Mahadev Temple.

However, it is said that the temple is buried in the soil. If excavations are carried out here, the temple will be found. According to the Puranas, Sambhal was once a pilgrimage site. There are 84 circumambulation routes here. It is reported that there are 68 pilgrimage sites on these routes. There are also 19 wells there. Each of them is said to have a significance. Crucial evidence is also being collected in the ongoing excavations.

It is known that religious violence has taken place in Sambhal recently. In this context, the local administration authorities have started excavations here. Historical structures are being unearthed. The ancient step well that was recently discovered is being cleaned. Excavations are still ongoing. Officials say that it is not possible to say how many more days this process will take to complete. However, the recent discovery of the well of death has also gained importance.

The district administration is currently investigating the structures that have sunk into the soil. Work is currently underway to completely unearth the death well.

Similarly, several cleanliness programs are also being carried out in Chandausi. Meanwhile, on the other hand, the Yogi government is making plans to develop Sambhal as a pilgrimage site. It has also intensified the work related to this. The district administration has identified an ancient Shiva temple in this area. It is said that it was closed in 1978. However, since a stepwell was also discovered in the recent excavations, the Yogi government is preparing to rebuild the Shiva temple.
