Hyderabad, Dec 11, (Maxim News): Law enforcement is actively investigating the reported theft of crucial documents from the Animal Husbandry office in the state capital. CCTV footage from surrounding areas is being thoroughly analyzed for clues.

The investigation comes on the heels of a formal case filed at Nampally Police Station on Saturday. The complaint alleges that Kalyan, a former official associated with minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav, illegally entered the Masab Tank office and stole documents. Notably, this incident coincided with a video circulating on social media showing two individuals taking documents from the Technical Education Council office.

Adding to the intrigue, CCTV cameras within the Animal Husbandry department office were intentionally damaged, raising concerns about possible attempts to conceal the theft. Additionally, reports suggest that vehicles were present and likely used to transport the stolen documents.

Undeterred by the challenges, police officers have swiftly collected crucial evidence and are meticulously extracting information from CCTV cameras covering Masab Tank, Mallepally, NMDC, and Banjara Hills roads. Authorities are also preparing to question several individuals suspected of involvement in this case.

In response to these troubling events, senior officials from relevant departments are reviewing the security and status of key files and documents within all government offices.

The Abids police, Hyderabad are investigating a separate case involving an attempted theft at the Telangana Education Research and Training Institute office.

According to CI Narasimharaju, old furniture and cupboards were left behind after former minister Sabita Reddy’s office relocated six months ago. An attempt to remove these items led to a complaint from the office watchman.

Furniture Removal Sparks Confusion, Investigation Ongoing :

While attendants working in the same office claimed they had permission to remove the furniture, they fled the scene amidst the ensuing confusion. The Abids police are actively pursuing this matter.

These two separate incidents highlight the need for heightened vigilance and improved security measures within government offices across Telangana. As investigations continue, the public awaits further information and the resolution of these concerning situations. (Maxim News)
