Meanwhile, the South Central Railway recently announced that it will run 90 trains. These trains are being run keeping in mind the rush of passengers during the Sankranti festival.

Last year, 70 special trains were run for Sankranti. This year, their number has increased. It is reported that around 160 to 170 special trains will run from Telangana. It seems that the number of trains will be increased further. It has been said that the fares on these special trains will be additional compared to regular trains. Since special trains are run only for the extra rush, there are only a small amount of additional fares.  Special trains also travel on the same route as express trains.  (Maxim News)
