More Rs 200 cr released for Dalit Bandhu

Hyderabad, Aug.24 (Maxim News): State Government so far released Rs 1200 cr for Dalit Bandhu with Rs 200 crore more released by officials. The funds to be used for implementation of Dalit Bandhu program in Huzurabad segment.

The government already released Rs 500 crore on Monday towards implementation of Dalit Bandhu program for Huzurabad segment.

The Chief Minister has announced Rs 2000 cr for Dalit Bandhu in Huzurabad and Rs 1 lakh cr for entire state. With this the government has so far released Rs 1200 crore and another Rs 800 crore to be released soon. Telangana SC Cooperative Development Corporation, VC and MD Karunakar issued orders through a cheque for release of Rs 500 crore.

The state government has launched Dalit Bandhu on a pilot project at Huzurabad by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.

KCR already launched in Vasalamarri village in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district by the chief minister to benefit 76 SC families.

In a press release the government instructed the officials concerned to take necessary action to release the amount of Rs 500 crore for constituency development. The GO orders read that the government will release another Rs 1000 crore in week days.

The collector and other officials were told to release the amount on line for the development of the constituency.

K Chandrasekhar Rao has assured to release Rs 2000 crore for Huzurabad segment which is going to by-poll in near future.

KCR kept the promise of giving funds for the development of the segment and funds are getting released from time to time.

The opposition parties are crying foul on the government for eyeing the by-poll in the Huzurabad segment. They are demanding the scheme for all districts to help the Dalits. Also there are some parties demanding for BC Bandhu and Girijan Bandhu. (Maxim News)
