More Than 75 UG, PG, And PhD Candidates Participate In Course On Fermentation Technology At OU
Hyderabad, June 15 (Maxim News): The Certificate Course on Fermentation Technology under the National Skill Development Program jointly organized by CSIR-CSMCRI, Gujarat, Prof T. Navaneeth Rao Central Facilities for Research and Development (CFRD), Osmania University, and Abode Biotech India Pvt Ltd, Hyderabad, concluded today at PTNR-CFRD.
The three day programme is part of the CSIR integrated Skill initiative. More than 75 undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD students participated in the program. the training sessions included lectures by prominent experts in the field of fermentation technology, demonstrations of equipment and an industrial visit to Abode Biotec Pvt Ltd. at Nacharam. These training programs are crucial for equipping students with technical expertise. Given the challenges posed by emerging pandemics and climate change, it is essential to train the current generation in technical skills relevant to the fermentation industry.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, India emerged as a world leader in vaccine production, made possible by the country’s strong biotechnological advancements in startups, academia and industrial investment. Several students provided positive feedback on the program, stating that such initiatives at the University will significantly contribute to their career. (Maxim News)
