MP Komati Announces Rs 30 Lakh From MPLAD Funds For Cheryala Municipality

Hyderabad, March 10 (Maxim News): Congress MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy on Tuesday surprisingly attended the general body meeting of Cheryala municipality.

Speaking on the occasion, Komatireddy said he was allocating Rs 30 lakh from his MPLAD funds for development of the municipality. Alleging that the State government failed to appoint a single youth so far, the MP warned that they would lay a siege to the Assembly with all the unemployed youth in the State. Alleging that some tanks in the villages of old Cheryala Assembly constituency were not filled so far, he demanded that the State government notify the vacancies and fill them up immediately.

Stating that there are some 1.6 lakh vacancies in the State, Venkat Reddy said no DSC was held so far since the last seven years. He also said some five lakh unemployed BEd and DEd graduates were eagerly waiting for the DSC.

On the recent annual budget, the MP said it was totally disappointed the unemployed in the State. He also alleged that the State government had cheated the unemployed by not paying Rs 3,116 jobless allowance. He also said some 4,000 schools were shut down so far. He also said the State has failed to provide water from the Kaleswaram project. (Maxim News)
