MP Komatireddy slams TPCC chief Revanth Reddy
Hyderabad, Oct.17 (NSS): Senior Congress leader and MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy today targeted TPCC Chief A. Revanth Reddy and wondered why home guards were campaigning for the party candidate in Munugodu Assembly constituency when leaders of district SP’s stature are campaigning for the party candidate. He made it clear that he would not campaign for the party in the by-election.
Speaking to media persons after casting his vote at Gandhi Bhavan in the party president’s elections, Venkat Reddy termed himself as a home guard and added that there was no need for leaders of home guard stature to campaign for the party candidate. Reddy utilized the occasion to target the ruling TRS party MLC Kadiyam Srihari and said the latter did not have the stature to criticize him. He asked Srihari to talk to State Industries Minister K Tarakarama Rao about his foreign visits. (NSS)
