Hyderabad, May 6 (Maxim News): MRF State President Mohammad Ifteqar Ahmed thanked chief minister KCR for taking extra ordinary steps to prevent spread of coronavirus in Telangana.
He urged the people of the state including Muslims who are fasting during the ongoing holy month of Ramzan to confine themselves to their homes and follow the guidelines issued by the state government. In a statement he condemned the statement of BJP state president Bandi Sanjay Kumar that the Muslims were not following lockdown rules and made it clear that all the Muslims of the state were observing fast and spending their time at their homes in complete compliance of the guidelines issued by the state government. He also made it clear that the Muslims were going out of their homes only to buy the most Essential commodities.
He asked the BJP state chief from making any comments against the Muslims of the state. Referring to the non payment of the salaries of Muslim imams and muezzins since the last three months, he urged the state government to immediately release the funds . (Maxim News)
