Mulugu Lorry Crash | Mulugu, Oct. 8: A CRPF jawan was killed after a sand laden lorry crashed into a vehicle carrying security personnel in Mulugu district.
The accident occurred on NH 163 near the Pasara Forest Check Post in Govindaraopet mandal. The CRPF personnel were travelling in a DCM van when the lorry lost control.
The deceased jawan was identified as Muguram Ramakanth, 36, of the 39th Battalion. He died at the accident spot.
Three other CRPF jawans sustained injuries in the crash. They were identified as Girish Kumar, Prem Prakash and Ram Jan Prasad.

The lorry later collided with a car travelling behind the DCM van. Three other government employees in the car also suffered injuries.

Police and emergency personnel reached the location after the accident. The injured were shifted for medical treatment.
Authorities are assessing the circumstances that caused the sand laden lorry to lose control. Further details about the condition of the injured are awaited.
