Munugodu by-election will be a milestone in the history of Telangana: Tarun Chug

Hyderabad, Aug.20 (Maxim News): The BJP state incharge Tarun Chug today said that the upcoming by-election in Munugodu assembly constituency would be a milestone in the history of the state. He claimed that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and his party leaders were scared of the ‘Munugodu Samara Bheri’ public meeting being organized by the state unit of the BJP today. He said that the party had succeeded in bringing CM KCR out of his farm house. Chug said that the former MLA of Munugodu K. Rajagopal Reddy would formally join the BJP in the presence of union home minister Amit Shah at the Munugodu public meeting. He hoped that the public meeting would prove to be the last nail in burying the corrupt-dynastic and despotic regime of CM KCR in Telangana and added that Amit shah would hit the last nail at the last nail.

Speaking further, he said that the BJP had taken a vow that it would stand by the betrayed people of Telangana who have been simmering with anger against the TRS government and its eight years of misrule. He said that they would also expose CM KCR’s family and its misrule, which has become a menace to all sections of the population.

Chug said that The Munugodu public meeting was going to epitomize the collective anger of the people of the state. He said that Amit shah would not only articulate the vow the BJP at the public meeting but would also give assurance to the people of Telangana.

Targeting the CM further, he said that KCR and the TRS party appeared to be nervous and feel clueless in the run-up to the by-election campaign. “It is evident from their decision to organize a public meeting today at Munugodu. In a way, it is a moral victory for the BJP that it compelled the CM to leave the farmhouse for fear of the BJP. It is now categorical that the Munugodu by-election will prove a watershed moment in the political history of Telangana,” he said that while appealing the people of the state especially the youth and students who were at the forefront of the Telangana movement, to participate in the meeting in large numbers, in order to send the message loud and clear that dynastic rule will not be tolerated by them anymore in Telangana. He said that the people of the state were angry with the eight year long misrule of the TRS party and added that they would teach a befitting lesson to the CM and his party in the by-elections.
