Muslims Observe Fast At Their Homes On First day Of Holy Month Of Ramzan
Hyderabad, April 25 (Maxim News): Muslims from across state observed fasting on first day of holy month of Ramzan by confining themselves at their homes due to lockdown. The mosques from across the state including the grand old and historic Mecca Masjid wore a deserted look due to the lockdown. The muslims also offered their obligatory five prayers at their homes.
The optional Taraveeh prayer which is offered every day at Mosques during the month long Ramzan month, was also offered at homes by the Muslims of the state. The superintendent of Mecca Masjid Mohammad Abdul Qadar Siddique has urged the Muslims to offer perform their Sehri, Iftaar and prayers at their homes till the lockdown is withdrawn in the state. He also urged them to hold the ramzaan feasts at their homes. Meanwhile the authorities of electricity department have made elaborate arrangements to ensure round the clock supply of electricity to its consumers throughout the holy month of Ramzaan.
