Nellore, Sept.6 (Maxim News): Vice president of India M. Venkaiah Naidu today heaped praises on the state for topping the list of Ease of Doing Business (EoDB) in the entire country. He said that he was happy that the state had come first in the entire country in the issue. He made these remarks during a webinar conducted with the journalists his native Nellore district.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that they would do more hard work for the welfare of the farmers of the state and added that he had already held discussions with the chief minister of the state on the issue. Naidu also said that he would work hard to bring more welfare programs of the central government to the state. He also said that he would hold discussions with the state government on the completion of all pending programs and the construction of different central government organizations. He also said that they would take steps for providing more facilities to all Covid 19 patients of the state. He reminded that the prime minister of the country Narendra Modi has also shifted his entire focus on the containment of the Covid 19 virus in the country. He added that the PM had specially allocated Rs.15,000 crore for the prevention of the pandemic in the country and added that the funds could be used to improve infrastructure in all the government hospitals of the state.
Commenting on the recovery of the famous singer SP Balasubramanyam, Naidu said that he was happy to note that the veteran singer was recovering from his ill-health and added that he was inquiring about the health condition of the singer at regular intervals. He said that he would take steps to complete all the pending central government programs in the district. He also said that he would hold discussions with the officials concerned for get MCI recognition for the Nellore Government medical college.
He also assured that he would work hard for the development of Vikrama Simhapuri university. The AP state has bagged the number one position by implementing all 187 reforms prescribed jointly by Department of Industrial promotion and Internal trade and the World Bank as part of its EODB policy.
